As a progressive beginner for me this product stepped up my board feel. My boots have broken in nicely now and feel comfortable, these straps allow me to get the direct power transfer I want when used at top of my boot without having to overtighten my laces. Just what I was looking. Also was able to use for an emergency when friends boot system failed. I could instantly feel the difference between with and without on my own. Exactly what I was looking for.
Photon Step Ons have only single BOA (in addition to ankle strap) and Strapings make it easier to find tight fit without cramping your feet by overtightening the BOA. It's like fire and forget setupt: no need to adjust boot tightening during a day and additionally you get more responsive performance out of your boots. Strapins are kind of no-brainer to get if you want to get the maximum performance out of your equipment.
